Welcome Tim!!! The first thing I would love to ask you about is your new book coming out in September.

Could you give us a little bit about it. Is it as hardcore as your Leisure releases? And when it gets closer to the release date, could you give us a little taste?

We missed you lately and it will be damn good to get some Tim Waggoner stuff into our veins. Do we really have to wait until September?

I've preorded it and standing by my mailbox.

Welcome Tim!

It will be great to chat with you once again about your work since you branched out from Leisure. As Tt mentions, we discovered that you would be putting out a new horror book in September through Wizards of the Coast!

I have to admit that I was somewhat shocked with the publisher being used for your horror novel. Having read quite a bit of fantasy and being a D&D fan, I was surprised of not having heard of a horror line being tried out by that publisher.

How were you approached to write for this line of books and were you directly involved in the proposal? Was this easier to do because you have already established a relationship with the publisher with the books that you have written for Fantasy?

Contractually, do you have any plans to keep writing for that line or is this more of a one contract deal and wait for sale results? Who better to promote that line than you? Wizards made a wise choice.

Is this book going to meet the caliber of horror that you were writing through Leisure or will it be tamer and targeted at a younger audience?

Is the novel more towards true horror or dark fantasy?

I am so glad that you are back in the mass market. Thank you for hanging in and not forgetting about your horror fans.

The short story collection will be primarily reprints, though a couple previously unpublished stories will appear. I don't know how expensive the limited hardcover of PANDORA DRIVE will be, but there won't be any new material in it. Leisure didn't ask me to trim a single word from the manuscript, so there's nothing else to put it!
