What a terrible turn of events. Surely there's something that can be done (at a later date) to salvage all the work that has gone into this project?

I'm not an author, maybe that's why I don't understand what the complaint is. Copyright infringment? I'm not sure I understand the context.

In any event, it does really stink, I'm very sorry Steve. With this put Tasmaniac into any sort of trouble? Is there something we can do to help out if it does?

Tasmaniac has been around for a while and I have only just got into their stuff.
I have all the books they have put out so far and Tasmaniac has become a favorite of mine.

You have my support for what it is worth, dam shame because I was looking forward to some Xmas stories.

This past week has been the darkest time for Tasmaniac with many a time thinking, is all the hassle worth it? Well it is, all the support and well wishes I received has proved it. A big heart-felt thank you to you all.

I'll leave the details of the complaint within the inner circle of contributors, where they managed to seek a resolution to this. Without their help the outcome may have been different.

I'm proud of ALL the stories within FESTIVE FEAR and hope you like them. If I introduce you to someone you've not read before and subsequently enjoy then I've done my job.

Tasmaniac is my favorite small press, no, make that my favorite press period!

And don't get the wrong idea when I say this, I am a happily married man, (well, as happy as a married man can be) but Steve is my favorite publisher! Of course, right now he's the only publisher I know, but that doesn't make him any less my favorite!

I'm so glad Festive Fear's issues are resolved and you're back in the saddle again! And we are still waiting for so much more from Tasmaniac....

Thanks for hanging in there for us Steve!

Man! I finally just had time to catch up on my Internet time after a week away... HOLY CRUB, I was freakin' out!

Especially since I just paid for it Tuesday of last week (the day before the announcement, yikes)!

Also, like many of you, I really have no idea how an author can feel that their copyright was infringed for a story that they wrote, contributed, and got paid for...

I am sure it was complicated and seemed valid in some way, but I am not here to speculate.

I am just glad that we will be able to read these tales! Thank goodness!

Wow! Started it last night figuring I would read just one or two stories. Didn't work out as planned. I just had to keep reading and reading and reading until....there was nothing left to read.

A great anthology Steve! All in all, the best Christmas themed one I have ever read! (Thats saying alot since I didn't understand half the words or the slang used! All I know is that I never want to own something called an ESKY! It seems that everyone who owns one in Australia dies a horrible death!)

Really good job, and worth the wait. I will confess though to having a problem with one story, but it's a matter of taste however, and I'm sure others might consider it the highlight of the book.

Found out where the card came from, that was cool too!

I think you might have an esky... I think it is a portable cooler (like a Coleman Cooler). Short for Eskimo.

With this anthology containnig my first ever publication, I was delighted to see my name mentioned in the paragraph that strated with "There are many other highlights in the anthology worth mentioning". That leaves me speechless with delight, so thanks to T for that, and the overall great review.

Really glad Steve's idea for this anthology and hard work is paying off with solid reviews.
