I'll be having a crack at this, too! This is a series that I would love to see take off. Hard for an Australian publisher to push a Halloween anthology when it is not a big event here in Aus, so Christmas seems like a good idea. A fat guy in a red suit 'breaking' into homes all over the world...bound to have some nasty situations arise... |

Due to a contributing author complaining their copyright has been infringed this title will not be released for sale. Apologies go out to all of you that have been waiting for this, and apologies to the other contributing writers and artists who made such efforts in making this project what it was. Steve. |

![]() This sucks big time. Sorry, Steve. I know this would be difficult, due to the money issue, but it'd be great to yank the story in question, and release the antho sans story. Royally pissed, Brett. |

I'm gutted about this, primarily for Steve. Having worked with publishers I know the amount of work that goes into producing a book...not to mention the cost. To have an author take this action that results in an entire book going down the drain is terrible. Folks: lets rally around Steve as I'm sure he could do with our support. |

Sorry to hear this. Truly sucks to think we won't get these stories because of one person. |

Post subject: | Re: FESTIVE FEAR |
As someone with an illustration in this anthology, and the illustrator for the xmas cards, I too am annoyed. Not just for myself, but for the other authors and illustrators who spent time on this project and especially for Steve and all the work he's done and the money he has now wasted. Small press is hard enough as it is without authors pulling stunts like this. If there is anything I can do, just let me know. And, a definite yes to the rallying! I'm sure well all do what we can to assist and support Tasmaniac in this issue. |
