Book 1: CONCRETE JUNGLE After attacking the sales and scourging for last minute gifts in an adjacent shopping centre, a disparate group of people head back to the multi-story underground car park. It’s late, the only cars left are their own, and they begin to leave. Only they can’t. For some reason, no one can find the exit, instead travelling in endless, inane circles. In time they find one another, and, banding together, try and find a way out…though none of them can. Hours become days, days form into weeks. They eat and drink from limited reserves but it isn’t long before desperation sets in. Tempers are frayed, though they strive to keep hope alive by searching for that elusive way out. Stranger still, weeds begin to grow at an accelerated rate through the cracks of the concrete; then bushes, trees and vines. Wild animals start to appear, which soon adapt under the canopy, governed by hunger. The car park transforms into jungle, back to what once stood there. Now the humans must fight to survive – not only each other, but also Mother Nature. CONCRETE JUNGLE scheduled for a 2010 release |

Fresh synopsis for this upcoming release. It’s late. A few remaining shoppers head for the multi-story car park after attacking the sales at an adjacent shopping center. However, they become trapped in the underground bunker when, incredibly, trees start to sprout from beneath the car park, transforming the concrete structure into a ruined, maze-like cavern. Unable to find a way out it becomes a struggle for survival, for not only does the car park continue to transform back into a jungle, wild animals have begun to appear, governed by hunger under the foliage canopy. Now the humans must fight to survive – not only Mother Nature, but a foe just as deadly…each other. |

I like that it will now be "all in one"... Soon we will have a Concrete-Mythos collection of books, so to speak. Maybe even a seperate anthology someday with all new stories by a set of different authors?

Easily one of the best covers I have seen in a while. I think this series is going to be a huge hit for TP and Brett. Gotta echo Tt's request though: members are already covered, right? Althugh a second copy for personalisation by Brett is probably a must here... |
