We caught the back end of Sandy yesterday so I took my grandson to see Silent Hill in 3D. The reviews weren't great (some reviewers take themselves too seriously), but the 3D and special effects were awesome. They had some nasty monsters in that version of Hell. The big-breasted killer nurses in the operating room and the triangle headed guy, and the monster mix of arms and heads were pretty frightening. We were the only ones in the theater so that was cool. Right at the beginning, ash rains on your head and we were reaching up to grab at it. Great movie with some great monsters and plenty of jump in your seat startle reactions. I want to see it again.
