Let's see...I'm nearly finished with the first draft of a novel (sort of a mystery/horror/fantasy oddball sort of thing), had a story accepted for the Paging Mr. Hitchcock anthology, and was short-listed for another (that I won't mention for fear of jinxing the deal). I've discovered that 46 is a fairly shitty age to be, but then I've thought that about every age since the big 3-0. My kids are getting better grades than ever, but are seemingly more unhappy with each other. My new neighbor built a dog pen in his yard that wouldn't keep a moderately enthusiastic rock contained, so his black lab pulled a prison break, came over and crapped in my yard. More later...
