Since I had my little moan in January, things have just kept getting better. Black Death Books have issued a gorgeous paperback omnibus of the WATCHERS Trilogy, with a limited edition hardcover to follow next winter And coming in 2009 from Ghostwriter Publications I have - In April - ISLAND LIFE (Hardcover and Audiobook) - A shiny new reprint of my first novel - In June - RICKMAN'S PLASMA, a short story in the CREATURE FEATURE anthology - In July/August - BERSERKER (Hardcover) - My Yeti vs Viking adventure novel, with a cover by long time pro Steve Crisp - In November - FLOWER OF SCOTLAND (Hardcover, Audiobook and Paperback) - Twenty of my short stories, 50/50 new and reprints - There's also another possible hardcover, THE VALLEY, which is a Lost World tale, a work in progress but one that the publisher is very keen on which I hope will see publication in the Winter. And, whisper it, but there's been a mention of a possible Willie Meikle / Guy N Smith collaboration. Yesterday I got confirmation I'll have a story, CALL AND RESPONSE in the Cthulhu 2012 anthology from Mythos Books, which will be in both hardcover and leatherbound limited editions. Can you say whoo-hoo with me? In the pipeline, I have The Valley as mentioned above. I'm still trying to sell the novels HUNTER'S DOCK and THE TWELVE CONCORDANCES, and I'm waiting on a decision from Black Death Books on the 3rd Derek Adams novel THE SKIN GAME But if the rest of 2009 proves anywhere near as exciting as the first 3 months I'll be very happy indeed.
