Have you seen this? I can't imagine the file size. $83, though, and I seem to remember I already have the first two on Kindle (which they put out at something like $2 or 3.99). |

Pfft. That dinky series can be read in one night ![]() I don't remember if Kurt finished the series or still has book ten to read. I read book one *years* ago, started book two, got sidetracked (what a surprise) and never got back to it. Then again, I decided back then I would not start another lengthy fantasy series until all books were released. George RR Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire is excellent (well, the first three books as I stopped there), but I won't read another until Martin finishes the series in 2085. Now that Malazan has been completed, one day I shall finish that series... |

I've read the whole thing. JMHO it fizzles out a bit at the end (like other long story arcs of its kind) but the journey has been spectacular. Just when I thought it couldn't get weirder, or darker, he throws in a brand new world and new characters, and somehow it all fits in (Midnight Tides and Trull Sengar, for example). Must admit, I have a soft spot for a well written grand epic. |

I still have to read the Crippled God... been putting it off... don't know why other than the fact that when I read one of his books it consumes me for the whole month... I do nothing else. I also have the last 3 Esselmont books to read and I already pickled up the first book of the Kharkanas Trio which is sort of a prequel to the Malazan series. |
