I'll never forget The Pic Man. Or his words. R.I.P. - Tom. I'm gonna miss you. |

Man, I was reading over some of Tom's crime novels. He was amazing. I think he could have written in any genre and been successful. The Cold Spot, November Mourns, Headstone City ... Damn, the man could write. Bragging about him makes me feel better, so just put up with me. |

Oh no. He was the very first author I had corresponded with online. I thought that was the most awesome thing ever. Then I came here and found all of you. What a gift to be able to do that. He was very approachable and kind, as are all of you. It was an honor and a pleasure to chat with him. Very sad news, but thank you for sharing the info. |

Very much my experience with him as well. He was a really good guy. I think I only got to meet him in person once, but he was always so kind and supportive. |

Absent friends have been on my mind a lot recently. The rather brilliant blurb on the back of my latest book was from Tom Pic. I can't even begin to express my gratitude. I came across this wonderful appreciation of Terry's work at the Horror Drive-In site: |

After I corresponded with Terry, I bought A Manhattan Ghost Story. I have yet to read it. I really need to get that one out and have a read. Just to horror him. Such a nice man. I know I read one of Tom's stories in an anthology. I should find some more by him to read as well. Lord Dunbar, I have some of your books in my kindle list to read as well. I believe I've read at least one of yours recently (in the last year or so, anyway). Take care. |
