Stephen Hunter is one of those author's I read over and over, when ever I need a "good read". I'd tackle Hot Springs and then Pale Horse Riding, in that order. |

After this book, I'd be willing to give his others a shot. I could see Laymon being a fan of his work. Both writers share a knack for making their characters come alive and have villains that you actually want to read more about. |

Dirty White Boys was a great book. I read it many years ago, but remember it fondly. |
