Not sure what to think of this one yet. I really liked the beginning with a guy getting a railroad spike driven completely through his head, and someone going crazy and taking a hatchet to his own hand. But there was also some pretty cheesy moments, and blatantly unrealistic moments of everyday life. The cops inform the new widow that her husband was murdered in front of everyone at her job, including a bunch of little kids on a field trip? A boy sings a song to the tune of "You're so Vain" , only about a girl's meth head father? Good enough to make me watch next, hopefully they'll stick to the creepy parts and not the corny ones. |

I caught a few minutes of it, but it didn't grab me. The ice shack scene was neat, though. And Sam Neil was playing his character at top volume--like Spinal Tap turning the amp to 11. Might give it a second chance next week. |

I watched it on line at lunch. It looks interesting. Sam Neill reminds me of Leland Gaunt from NEEDFUL THINGS. I'll try and catch it live next week. In all honesty, this is the first I'm hearing of it - never saw a commercial for it or anything |

I thought it had its moments, it has this weird twin peeks meets needful things kinda feel to it.  but I'll keep watching for now.

ya man thanks for noticing. I thought i could have a fun name for once. ( foxglove is the name of a song that i haven't gotten out of my head for awhile by a southern gothic style band named murder by death highly recommend the band to all with a glass of wiskey  ) good to see a friendly face and name Craig.
