I too just finished this one. And I was shocked at how good it was. I like to read all types of horror, but my favorite type of stuff is hardcore siction. I'm not trying to say this book was in anyway siction, but it did have a real element of the scarriest kind of horror, the Human horror. The horror we can just imagine being all too real. I've got a few of your books on my TBR pile Mr. Braunbeck, and after this one they will be jumping a few spots and making it to the top pretty damn quick. It is one of the best books I've read and it's definatly going to be going in my top ten. I look forward to more of your stuff soon. |

This book was one of my favorite reads of last year. Tied with Jeff Strand's PRESSURE. Both of which were nominated for Best Novel at the Stoker Awards. |
