13:09 Haven't fallen off the face of the earth -- Gary had Phase 1 of his spinal cord stimulator implantation surgery last week. Went well. Tired. #
13:14 I need to get prescriptions, buy betadine and peroxide and bandages, clean house, finish novel. #
13:16 But because Gary's all borged up with wires and battery packs and whatnot, he can't take showers, and shampooing is problematic. #
13:16 Am now wondering if I should just talk him into letting me shave his head. #
13:19 Gary's not supposed to bend at the waist, or move around too much, or lift his arms over his head, or lift more than five pounds. #

Oh man!

I've been MIA, internet-wise, for a while now and just saw this.

Gary, my thoughts are with you brother! I can relate, in a way, to what you're going through and all I can say is stay strong. We, the fans, need you--you have that unique voice that speaks to some of us like no other and for that I will be forever grateful and wish you the speediest recovery possible.

If you happen to hear a faint voice that sounds like the love child of Elvis and Barry White in your ear, it's just me doing a bit of projection-healing--ummm, maybe I shouldn't have put that image in your brain, but there it is, so, er....nevermind... :lol

Oh, and Lucy, wait until he is doped up really good and talking about purple gnomes swimming in his belly button and then go for it and shave that head! I did it on a whim a few years ago (shaved my head, the gnomes appear regularly) and I LOVE it :D
