Hey, all, just touching base; been busy with movie stuff, got GREAT scenes, including a hot naked chick standing in my backyard holding a severed head, real literary stuff. My constant search for the perfect Edward Lee style horror actress may be at an end; in fact, I've found not one but two, and they both live less than ten miles from me. They're OUTSTANDING actors as well as, um, staggeringly attractive and not adverse to the nudity which so many of my characters partake in. And, Thursday, knock on wood, I've got a 4-girl shoot scheduled for an all-important zombie scene. I've never been hugely big into zombie, as my books affirm, but THIS zombie scene will, I hope, purvey to the viewership a circimstance as yet previously unseen in the history of horror cinema! I've been preparing for days, burning much midnight oil and working my ass off preparing...well, it's best that I let it be a surprise! I halfway know what I'm doing, this scene will be fantastic. On the Other People's Movie Front, I recently saw Pacific Rim: kind of a high tech kid movie with all the cornball lines but till really cool as well as a special FX treat. Re-watched recently Lords of Salem, and both VHS's, and found that they keep on getting better. Last night I watched another "found footage" film called The Feed, and in spite of the same old thing, a couple scenes near the end almost made me crap my pants. Very effective stuff. Right now I'm watching The Wicked, a "Witch's Curse" offering which, despite contrivances, is entertaining and so well directed and edited, I'm much impressed.

Sooooo looking forward to seeing some of the movie footage. You certainly know how to tantalize, Ed.
"Fake sperm launcher" has become the go-to phrase, at work, to get people laughing at random moments.

I have owned both V/H/S and The Lords of Salem, since they were released on video, and I have yet to watch either one. I did watch The World's End, and thoroughly enjoyed it.
