Wanted to relate that yesterday afternoon, I had the pleasure of meeting my dear friend Jack Ketchum for lunch in downtown st pete. We went to the Central Avenue Oyster Bar and had a blast (not to mention some top drawer oysters and seafood!) He also introduced me to some kind of scotch that was aged in smoked barrels or something. It had a smoky aroma and a fascinating bite to it (and it was only $18 a shot!) Without revealing specifics I can tell you he's busy at work on multiple projects and is very enthused about them. As for my own work, I'm up to 14k words on White Trash Gothic, and it's grimly wonderful and, I think, full of surprises you will all appreciate. Couple scenes so far have made me ashamed of myself for writing them. And my current movie, Paranormal Nudist Camp Massacre, is easily half done. and I got several more shoots lined up this week. I should have been there! So glad you hooked up with your old friend, Dallas! How awesome it would have been to be a fly on the wall! Looking forward to your new book and movie!
