Folks, sorry about my long absence from the board. 3 weeks ago I came down with a monstrous upper chest cold and it's STILL kicking my ass. Hence, I'm still not done with White Trash Gothic, but I WILL BE within a week. Sorry this book is taking so friggin long to finish! But I think itll be worth the wait. However, I'd be remiss not to mention that several weeks of Nyquil and other such stuff has semed to put a wack on my brain. I've related in the past my propensity for having not nightmares but STUPID dreams, and several nights ago I had a doozy. I dreamed (or dreamt) that I was in the auto accessories section of a Sam's Club and I was, naturally, shopping with Dick Van Dyke, and we specifically were shopping for, yes, you guessed it, live scallops, which of course were for sale there in the auto accessories section. Next thing I know, I'm running for my life down the corridors of Sligo Junior High School. Makes sense, right? My pursuer is, of course, Mr. Van Dyke. I have it in my head that Dick intends to KILL ME. So, I turned around and punched him in the face. That's the kind of shit I have to deal with every night. Yes, that was my dream. I punched Dick Van Dyke in the face. Later! Best Edward Lee |
