I finally hunted myself up a copy of Edward Lee's CITY INFERNAL, (Leisure). Holy shit. What a fun, wild imaginative ride. I'm a big fan of Lee's stuff, but this yarn has got to be my personal favourite. A hell of an exercise in world-building. I recommend it highly. |

Thanks Lee. I've got the second book of the Inferno trilogy buried somewhere in amongst my packed books and when my leg heals and the necessary bookshelves are built I plan to unpack and organize and your book will be definitely in the TBR pile. I know the third book will get to me through Leisure, and I can't wait. You built yourself such a world in the first book I'm dying to see what you do in book 2 and 3. |
