Has anyone subscribed to the podcast called Horror Stories? It replays a number of the old radio programs. Many of them are very good. I really have enjoyed the ones done by Vincent Price called The Price of Fear. There are other good ones as well, such as the one about The Demon Tree and the like. The ones from an old show called The Hermit have been pretty good too.

The Hermit us a pretty good show. I'll have to check out the other two you mention.

There is a short horror story podcast called Come Let Me Whisper by Russel L. Burt that has some good stories. They can be a bit hit and miss but the most recent one is a zombie story that has a unique take on how one becomes a zombie, pretty crude but unique. I know many of you are zombie fans so you might like it.

I downloaded all the Come, Let me Whisper stories, but the few I listened to were just okay. There were a few which started out interestingly, like the one about the guy who kept getting the same number every time he scanned a price, but in the end they sort of fell apart.

Yes, I agree. The stories aren't anywhere near as good as Psuedopod's or The Late Late Show but I really like listening to short horror stories while I work and there doesn't appear to be a whole lot of good ones out there. I would say most of the stories in Come Let Me Whisper are marginal but when I've listened to all the other ones I fall back on what's left. I only brought them up in this instance because I know that there are a lot of zombie fans here and the most recent story was zombie related.
