'Sup, Weekend Warriors?

Norma's been walking a new route, about 2.5 miles, so I went with her this morning, then walked my mother's dog.

Norma has a pool party to go to this afternoon, but I plan to stay home to work. I need to divide my time between writing a novelette and going over the proof for Dead Earth: The Green Dawn. It looks like this may be out by October.

Next week won't see much writing. I have to work late every night, then Friday it's off to Horrorfind.

Okay. I passed my writing goal for the day. Now we're grilling out and watching The Monster Squad. Beer, burgers and a great move. Now that's a Saturday night.

Not as fun around here. Need to finish some design work and prepare my class for Monday morning and work on some techniques to get through to Elementary students without explaining concepts in Spanish. I'm even out of wrestling stock to watch. Right now I want to lie down and read but most likely I'll fall asleep after the first page, lol.

Walked with my wife again this morning. Came back pleasantly perspiring. Now I'm going to write. This afternoon I'll be watching 300 with my brother, then it's back home to finish proofing DE:TGD. I'm also very close to the end of Dead Sea. I planned to finish it last night, but fell asleep watching The Monster Squad special features disc.

It's my anniversary today. We've been married for 7 years now and they've been great! My wife and I went out to eat after church and did a little shopping. I've got weight lifting to do soon and later on tonight is The 4400 and The Dead Zone that my wife and I both like to watch. I have borrowed 300 from a friend and hope to watch it this week sometime.

BTW, Mark, do you watch Who Wants to be a Superhero?

Happy anniversary, Matt.

Despite being a comic book fan and worshiping Stan Lee in my youth, I've never watched the show. It must be my aversion to reality programming. Is it good?
