Hey Mark, I just wanted to let you know that I really enjoyed your story, 'The Thing in the Stocking'! Very well done! I've often thought about trying to write a holiday short horror story myself but have found it difficult coming up with an idea that would work for those two seemingly different types of settings but you did so quite well. Before your reading on this episode I hadn't read or heard any of your work yet but I'm going to have to make it a point to rectify that. And I agree that Peter Straub's Ghost Story is very good. It starts a little slowly but really pays off at the end. My only comment on 'The Little Hummer Boy' story is sumed up by the following icon. ![]() Other than that thanks for the great show! |

Wasn't too enthralled by the Santa story. Little too over the top, and not enough campy moments. Sorry! Good podcast otherwise. |

I'm NOT complaining, by the way. Just did nothing for me. |

Wow, guys, I've got nothing but great feedback about my reading of "The Little Hummer Boy." Next week, I'll be doing a Christmas Day reading of it outside the local Christian Light bookstore where copies of Dead Santa will be stashed within every hymnal and Bible (which are on sale for 50% off, by the way). ![]() Merry Christmas to all! |

Mr. Justice-- one of things I liked about your story is that you didn't over explain the old man or the magic. ![]() There's no reason for the cat icon. |

This is just an idea or two: You do read well. Have you looked into pseudopod.org? (I may have mispelled that) They do horror readings as a podcast, and they're a paying market. Could also be an interesting interview. These are the same people who do Escape Pod, which is mostly science fiction readings. ![]() ![]() I have no clue why those cats keep popping into my message |

on the POH mainpage, here at horrorworld, there's this ending part of a blurb: Pod of Horror #26 is hosted by Mark Justice and David T. Wilbanks. Download it below. so what's the problem? Isn't Mr. T. Wilbanks out sick this episode? Or does the vomit FX, and the sound capture used in Tomb of Trivia consitute Mr. T. Wilbanks co-hosting? Perhaps, though racked with illness, Mr. T. Wilbanks actually co-hosted this time "in spirit"? Sorry to nit-pick! ![]() But it's what I do. |
