Great episode! Of course anytime you have the Ultimate Master of Horror on how could it be anything but? Of course I am speaking of Mr. Ramsey Campbell. Sounds like he has a really cool office to write at. I can just imagine looking out across the water in England and writing. It seems as though that alone would be pretty inspireing. Thanks for asking Mr. Campbell my question Mark. I really enjoyed hearing him talk about the movie prospects for some of his great stories. Also thanks to Scott Bradley for answering my question to you. I've read al little bit of a few of those you mentioned and have heard of Aickman although I don't think I've ever actually read any of his stuff. I'll have to track down some of his stories. And thanks for Mark and Dave for putting out such a fun and informative podcast. By the way this is my all time favorite episode and I think that this one may be near impossible to top. ![]() |

After hearing that interview I can't wait to get my hands on his upcoming novel, Grin of the Dark. His description of its story sounds similar to my favorite novel of his, Ancient Images. I wonder when it will be available here in the US. |

Thanks Mark. I usually don't like to spend that much on a book, but it is signed by Mr. Campbell, which would be cool to have. It says that its part of a limited addition. With regards to novels, such as this one, what would be different between it and the regular editions that will come out later? I assume that its something other than the fact that it's signed and what is the benefit from owning a limited edition run? ![]() |
