Whoa. I went to another arena football game last night, but first we went to a local pub for pizza and beer. A lot of beer. We left the game early, because the roads were getting bad and my brother and his finance had to work.

Today he and I are going to see Ghost Rider. The reviews all say it sucks, but GR was our favorite comic book in the 70s, so we are going in with low expectations and hope for the best.

On the writing front, I need to start a short story for an anthology deadline that is rapidly approaching. I seem to work better with deadlines. If a project doesn't have a deadline, then I apply my own. It seems to help me prioritize and stay motivated. I'll probably spend three or four days on the story. The plot has been complete in my head since the idea occurred to me. I've just been going back and forth over the gender of my lead character and whether the voice is first-person or third-person.

I prefer the fifth-person point of view myself

Hey Mark, I haven't noticed you on the forum as much. I figured you must be at the computer churning out some new stuff. I too loved the ghost rider comic book as a kid, and plan to see the movie sometime this next week. Pretty busy today with some freinds coming over, so I can't see it this weekend. My wife finished doing a final edit (grammer-wise) on my short story. I just have to correct a cople of things, get some manuscript envelopes and send it out to Dark Discoveries (and then pray for the best).
