| Post subject: | Which is better, being published by an E-zine or print? |
I'm torn here. I've noticed that alot of the E-zines pay more, but I always thought it would be cool to hold an actual print magazine in yours hands that featured something that you wrote. Is one prefered over the other by most out there? I'm curious since I'm looking at places to submit my work to.

Pay is a good indication, but there's also something else. Look at who the editor is. Isn't like Nick Mamatas editing clarksworld? It doesn't matter whether it's print or not, if you got a well known editor behind it, then it's a good market. Traditionally, I'd say print, but we're in a day an age where the net is hard to ignore. Also, if the pay is contributor's copies for print, and pay for the internet, I'd always go with the pay, unless it's paltry. |
