Wassup?

Dave and I are putting together Pod of Horror # 30 this morning, with special guest David Morrell. His new novel Scavenger is a lot of fun. PoH #30 will be up Sunday night/Monday morning.

Later today my wife and I will be going to a "preview" evening at a new BW3 restaurant. Hey, it's free wings and beer.

Tomorrow, I'm seeing 300.

And I've got to squeeze in some writing.

So what are you doing, compadres?

Gotta do some new house stuff that I've been putting off. Have to change the filter on the heater (which has a slot that's a half-inch shorter than the filters that go in it...lot's of fun that is...especially since it's in the crawlspace under the house), putting the address numbers up on the house & mailbox, and getting up into the attic for the first time to see the state of things and if it's suitable for storage or if I have to do anything to it first.

Then probably work some more on my web site that I haven't touched in a week.

Went to the comic book store today. Can you believe they killed Captain America! I'm sure he'll be back but still. I have over a hundred issue run of Captain America comics, mostly from when Mark Grunewald wrote him (The late Mark Grunewald was just a magical story-teller in comics and my personal favorite).
The family and I are going to go to church tonight and then on to a freinds house. Hopefully I can write a little Sunday evening. I'm running a game on Sunday afternoon.

Saturday is always WWE night for me, we get the shows 1 month after they air in the US though. Also listening to Koontz's The Husband in audiobook.

Nice to hear about the new POH. Looking forward to downloading as soon as it's ready!

Wondering what 'BW3' means

It's a Buffalo wings/sports bar joint. It wasn't bad. They had the usual opening night jitters, but the food was good. My draft beer tasted like the water you'd drink out of a garden hose as a kid, but I switched to bottle and everything was fine.

Saturday was kind of a dud for me. Yesterday (Friday) I was supposed to see 300 with my gal Amy and my pal John Skipp, but Amy wasn't feeling well, and Skipp and I were doing some work on a project (I promise I'll annouce the details on this project if there's ever anything to report), so we didn't see it. Today I just hung out with Amy and our cats, had a delish Mexican lunch, then worked at the video store from 5pm til Midnight. Was VERRRRRRY happy to come home and see that POH #30 was already up - AWESOME! - and David Morrell (a GOD) as our guest...DOUBLE AWESOME.

Gotta work tomorrow night, so Sunday will be low-key for me as well.

Currently reading THE OVERNIGHT by Ramsey Campbell and a collection of Charles Beaumont's short stories.

That's all on this end - hope everyone's well - and don't forget to spring forward!
