Hey Mark, (or anybody else), How do you force yourself to close or end a novel? I got 20,000 left to go, and I know the endgame, but part of me is resisting it. Instinct tells me to listen to instinct, but if I listen to my own anxieties long enough, the book will get finished. Any advice? |

The best way is to sit down and write. Finish the book. Put it away for a couple of weeks. Upon re-reading, if it doesn't work, then change it. The great thing about writing is you can always fix it before you send it out. So go ahead. If you screw it up, you can always change it. |

Writing Question for you, Mark. Considering the font size you're using, how many word processed pages do you average per 10,000 words? I'm just curious. I'm using courier, but figured I'd fiddle with the formatting to get it exactly professional later. |
