I finally finished Gast -- review to come. I've started The Wicked by James Newman.

I'm going to try to squeeze in a couple of thousand words on my novel today between running the sweeper and cleaning the litterbox.

We're (my family am I) going to church. Then off to the parents house for lunch. I finished my short story that I've been working on for awhile yesterday, and edited it a couple of times as well. I've since E-mailed it to the guys from my writing group so that they can read it before we meet again. They always give me useful feedback that improves the story. Anybody else out there part of a writers group?

I have a ton of work to do today - I've been numbering and packing copies of Laughing Boy's Shadow () and the post office is just going to "love" me on Monday.

Next I have to install some bookkeeping software on the computer because my accountant threatened bodily harm to me if I didn't (she doesn't seem to like Excel spreadsheets).

I'm also making a turkey breast with mashed potatoes and steamed sugar snap peas.

House cleaning will just have to wait....

All I really want to do is take a nap

Norma's doing all the heavy lifting. She's made or making a turkey, ham, dressing, rice dressing, mashed potatoes, fresh green beans, rolls, deviled eggs and dessert.

All I have to do is a little cleaning.

My pants will be a little tight tomorrow.

I've had a bad migraine all day. Took two doses of imitrex and still have the bugger. Haven't puked, though, so that's good.

Made lasagna for dinner...luckily, I had already put it together a month ago and had it in the freezer, so all I had to do was pull it out and pop it in the oven. Funny thing was, when I made it, I ran out of lasagna noodles (I usually make two and put the extra one in the freezer). So I topped off this one with linguini noodles instead. Looked funky, but tasted great.
