On Sunday, May 6, 2007, Curtis Harrington, acclaimed avante garde and horror director of such classic films as NIGHT TIDE and GAMES died. He was - I think - 80 or 81. I only barely knew Curtis, thanks to his already-legndary "salons", which were - at their height- completely open to ANYONE. If you lived in L.A. and knew the when and where, then you were not only invited but encouraged to invite friends. This is a REAL loss to both film in general and Horror Film in particular.
