I buy most of mine from the local Half-Priced Books store and I have really, almost never paid attention to who put out the book before buying it. If it sounds like a story I would enjoy and has decent cover art, I will ususally pick it up regardless of who published it. |

I'm all about overrstock stores, but having known a former bigwig at Harper Collins, I know that Overstock sellers don't pay royalties. So, I'm all for buying King and the bigwigs newstuff as overstock, but I figure the Sarah Pinborough and Tim Lebbons of the world could use all the help they can get, when it comes to quarterly royalty checks... just a thought. |
