Hi all -
Just wanted to let everyone know that I'm still alive and still part of the POH team. After a shitload of computer problems that I thought were fixed, my lovely flat-and-widescreen monitor decided to stop working for me, resulting in having to take it to the shop (for an estimated $300 repair, and having to wait for a part that still hasn't arrived). Whoo-ha.
And THEN I couldn't get certain programs to work on my wonky laptop, which resulted in me not getting to record my segment for the latest POH, as well as kept me from following up on some other promises and obligations.
And, to top everything else off, I got some kind of upsetting personal/family news - nothing I want to go into here, and something that only affects me to the extent that it affects someone I love, which is, of course, quite a bit.
But finally, on the upside, I have had some VERY good news come thru this week that will hopefully be ready to announce for public consumption in a few weeks. Mark & Dave already know (keep it under your hat guys!), but it's something that, when everything is nailed down, is gonna be pretty freaking amazing and that you'll all be VERY interested in hearing (it might even merit an announcement on a near-future POH!
).
