Camp Ramsbottom http://www.campratingz.com/ShowRatings.jsp?tcvid=5795 This is not a joke. I keep wanting to take a photo of the sign when I'm driving past it on my way home. I only thought to post this because someone just mentioned it on the local news (with a straight face too!). I can't imagine there was a time in history where this was considered an innocent name.

That's just as bad as some english town names I saw when I lived there. There was, not far from one of the us bases a place called, I kid you not. (wait for it) Horton Cum Studly! |
