Thanks, Rich. I had become pretty bored with Groovy Age of Horror (particularly during the recent Nazi phase) but now that he's expanded his focus, I'll be a more frequent visitor. |

The Docs hold up pretty well. Lester Dent was a helluva writer, even when doing formula stuff. Many of the Shadows I'm reading for the first time, and they're a mixed bag. Walter Gibson is rather hit or miss with me. Sometimes the slow pace of his novels tries my patience. By the way, what I just said is heresy in the pulp community. ![]() |
