Halifax Haunts: Exploring the City's Spookiest Places has just hit the Amazon.ca list for preorder.



And it is also available for preorder at the Chapters/Indigo website.



Mind you, the book isn't due out until the Spring, (April to May), but I am still pretty excited to see it there. It is a do-it-yourself ghost tour of Halifax, with 33 haunted sites, illustrated with photographs by that talented photographer Steve Vernon ;) and at least 33 stories, (some of the sites have more than one story attached), written by that talented storyteller Steve Vernon ;) :D ;)

I will keep you folks posted as news slowly develops.

Man, there is nothing finer than thumbing through the pages of a brand new book and knowing that you helped bring it into existence.

I've just received a box of Halifax Haunts: Exploring the City's Spookiest Spaces.

The book looks gorgeous. The back cover, which I hadn't seen until today, is a work of art. My photos turned out as solid as I'd hoped and the book looks like it will sell like a bastard.

I can't wait to start showing this to people at signings and appearances. I really feel the book will sell itself.

We officially launched the collection last night at the Spring Garden Road library. Had a turn-out of fifty audience members - which is pretty large for that library. Signed and sold a lot of copies, met a lot of interesting folks, and had a ball.

Without a doubt, this is the best of the three real life haunting/non-fiction books you have written. It is a wonderful book and so well written that I bet it is going to be huge for you.

Look for a review of it in June's review section of Horrorworld (that is, if our great Lady Of Horror approves it).
