I pre-registered for the muse online writers conference that your a part of today and am looking forward to it! Is it like a workshop?

Oh that's great! I'm really looking forward to that. It's in October, running from *digs under piles of paperwork to find calendar* ah, here it is...it runs from Monday Oct. 8th to Saturday Oct. 13th.

What's neat about this one (format wise) is that it's set on a forum, much like this one. So, we can have multiple question areas, workshop topics and activities.

It's just like a workshop. The main focus will be your favorite topic - supernatural fiction. I'm more versed with novel creation than short stories, but most of what we'll cover is applicable to both. There'll be short 'assignments' that participants can do - or not - geared to help hone their skills and learn more about themselves, their characters and their writing styles.

That said, I'm also very open to what the people want to go over. So, if there's any topics you'd like to see covered, just shout them out and we'll do those too.

Speaking of...I have to get my curriculum in to the organizers...hehe...
