Several organic monstrosities of twisted flesh and teeth amung other things. The PC's were sort of caught in the middle ground of a war between an evil corporate empire that gathered together six psychics, who could link together to form a seperate powerful psychic entity (which they sometimes had trouble controlling) and a powerful creature, stuck on an island who could absorbe other organisms (mostly people) to add to his mass and power. By the time the PC's reached him he was twenty-five feet tall. He was a leviathan from the GURPS Monsters book. He had been a philosopher from ancient Greece who tricked his village into summoning an evil entity from another dimention and he was transformed himself. Anyway there was alot more to it than that but that is the jist of it.
