First, I have to thank Greg for interviewing me. He was great and just as interesting and friendly on the phone as he is in emails. The interview was a lot of fun! I got to talk about Apparitions and Bailey (the main character). We also talked about Windigo, the sequel to Apparitions. He also had taken the time to read my Bio and In Progress pages at my site. So we talked about Night Wing, Farath and the game system we're working on! He asked some darn good questions about horror in general. I was pretty nervous - I'm hoping that didn't show too much. But all in all it was a blast. He said it'll be posted on Grave Thoughts sometime after 6pm on Tuesday. I'll post here when it's up and running! |

Thanks Rich! I'm going to try it that way as I've been dying to listen to all of these podcasts! I don't have an ipod so this'll help a lot. I wasn't aware you could download them there and listen without one of those buggers. I'm technically challenged...which you've probably already noticed
Speaking of podcasts - does anyone know of any that talk about the topic of horror itself ie genre and the way it's percieved? I'd be really interested in listening to those to help gather info and ammo for my media campaign. I'd like to represent it well and help to promote all writers and readers within it. |

Raven, Technically, you could download most podcasts and listen to them straight off your computer. there's one problem with that: it sucks! You can't carry your computer into the car and listen while you drive....hence the CDR and iTunes. However, some pods are short enough where a good cup of tea will last you while sitting behind the laptop. Plus, the other benefit of iTunes is it so easy on file management. |

Raven, One warning for you! If you get in the habit of burning pods onto disks, you could find yourself addicted! You know, I certainly went through A LOT of blank CDs. So much so that I could have easily bought a 70$ ipod shuffle or a 1gb player. You see, that's why iTunes the program is a free download. They hook you with 1$ song downloads and free podcast subscription, and then you findyourself actually thinking...."hmmmm. I do need one of those..." all the best, rich |

That does it! I'll have to get one now...or at least put it on the To Get List. I didn't know there were so many podcasts out there. I think it's great! It gives people with hrm...how shall I say this...people with tastes that aren't mainstream to listen to shows about topics that they enjoy. People like us! |

Raven, there's tons of stuff out there. Seriously consider, though, getting an iPod by brandname though, as some Mp3players don't stack up as good, and all the new ipods play video. ABout the cheapest is actually through apple.com -- most retaliers jack up the price. Whatever your choice is, a good car player has been neccissity, at least for me. |
