Any new news on Apparitions or Farath?
and
How is Windigo going? (Will that one be set in Canada? Most of the legends I've heard seem to take place there for some reason.)

Any new news on Apparitions or Farath? and How is Windigo going? (Will that one be set in Canada? Most of the legends I've heard seem to take place there for some reason.)

I believe Apps is now in editing, which has put Raven's work on Farath on hold temporarily. School is really cutting into my time, so I probably won't get anything on my end done until late June. |

Yup Yup! Apparitions is in editing... YAY!!!! My publisher said that I should have the galleys (final edits and proofs) and final 'coverized' versions of the art work in a few weeks! I'm not entirely sure what he means by a few weeks...but...closer than before 
I should know more about Farath, or rather Night Wing when we get to galleys on Apparitions. That's when my publisher will be focusing on my work and I'll be able to swindle more of his attention to pester him with questions. He did say my next book will be out in 2008...now...how we're going to decide to run the dual series is up for debate. I'd like to run it: Apparitions Night Wing Windigo Night Song Undecided title for next supernatural book...I'm going to be paying close attention to what readers are saying/wanting after the first two and guage which plot I'll use off of what they have more fun with. So DO tell me!!! Night Fall Which means alternating releases between the horror series and dark fantasy series. Now...whether or not my publisher will go for that or want to run them as all the horror series first then all the fantasy series is another story. |

Oh and Windigo will be taking place in the Michigan UP. It's in a county I made up (I hope no one minds me messing with the Michigan map!) that sits on the shores of Lake Superior. I put in a lot of the history of Michigan and the UP and some of the plot line harkens back to those days when the land up there was brutal and wild...er...what am I saying?? It's still kind of brutal and wild up there! I'm a huge fan of Lake Superior - so look for more horror titles being set in that county, though likely other towns in it. |

Ohhh yeah! I'm the type of person that has to be busy or I implode. The distractions with one project keep me from getting impatient with others. So it keeps me sane and the people around me safe

Raven, Did you finish reading Summer of Night? If you did, I was wondering if you liked it or not? Personally, it is one of my favorites.

I did I did. (exuse the hyperness...so much is happening that I'm going all giddy...woooohooo) I really enjoyed it and plugged him actually, on an on-line interview that I'm hoping shows up on dearreader.com this summer. Very good writer, imo. Now I want to read the next one - is that Winter something...? It's the sequel right? |

Thanks! I heard news that Apparitions should be in galley this week! Providing that ends up happening we should have it out by the end of May, depending on how much work I need to do to it! So right now I've gotta get off my duff and get household stuff done so I can concentrate on Apparitions 100% when I get the galleys. Go laundry catch-up! |
