I will be the first to admit that I was way late getting into both of these series. Of course, the benefit to that is I didn't have to wait a year between new RJ novels.

But there are few, if any, sets of books that have hooked me like these have. I began with The Keep, and have managed to read both series' together, chronologically, as I head toward Nightworld. But as I'm sure most of you know by now, I typically read 2-3 different books at the same time. And after graduating this summer, it may have been 4-5, simply because I was so excited to read again, and couldn't pick out just a couple.

However, after finishing Bloodline last week, I set aside the other books I've been reading (my apologies to Smile No More, Dance of Death, and Eulogies II), grabbed By the Sword, and dug right in. And this is how it will be until I finish Nightworld. There are so many connecting plot arcs at this point that I have to stay focused to keep track! In fact, yesterday I had to go back and re-read portions of Reborn because of how directly it influences both Bloodline and By the Sword.

The end is near, and here's what I have left on my immediate reading agenda;

Reprisal

The Dark at the End

Nice! Some of the best reading I've ever done!

This is the greatest book series of all time in my opinion.

I just need to get Riprisal and I can finish... I just started the repairman jack books like last year... and I just read 4 of his books last month after Paul sent me a new copy of By the Sword.... Good reading.

I was in Half Price Books today and they had all six Adversary books as they originally came out in paperback.

Craig, I really need to get into this. The only F. Paul Wilson I've read is The Keep, and I loved that one. I need to start with The Tomb, which I have but haven't read.

Well, since they weren't available when I read the series, I can't read something that didn't technically exist over three years ago ...

Like Nanci, I too read these in order as they came out. I even bought the deluxe box set for my son with the first rewrite of Night World. It was from Boderland Press, and I think Nanci, you also got this set. I gave them to my son as a Christmas present and he loves them. I still have to purchase the new Night World when it's released to read the entire rewrite.

Dark City and Fear City obviously came out after the series was originally finished, and I haven't read those. I haven't read any of the Young Adult Jack novels as a matter of fact.

And thanks Thad for pointing that out up above, who knows how much time I would have spent looking for those. : )

I'm flying through these books. I'm now at the 1/3 point of The Dark at the End.

It's kind of sad knowing that I'll have finished the series before the end of the year (not including the 3 prequels being released, or the 3 YA books).
