I'm finally going to start reading the comic. I have the first 2 trade paperbacks.

Watching them sit around the campfire last night, all I could think was, "I bet those guys STINK!"

This was a great episode. Some things bothered me though.
Instead of wasting ammo clearing out the prison yard why not draw the walkers to the fence and just poke them in the head with a weapon.
Why send your only doctor on a zombie clearing mission? Really you have a woman about to pop it just seems dumb.
I don't like the pets yet. They make no sense.
Who handcuffed those people into that room in the prison.

But I really liked the growth of the characters!

I have the graphic novels but I am going to stay away from then until this show is done. That way my viewing is pure and I don't expect things to happen.

Having only read the first 4 issues--so far--of the series, I'm only going to guess the "pets" are her sons.

I can't imagine any other reason to keep two armless, bottom jaw-less young zombie kids in tow. That, and they can act as pack mules.

The problem is how docile they are. Regardless of if they had arms or jaws their instinct would be to try to eat a live human. Yet they just follow her without lunging.

Indeed, JJ. I've said this before, I don't read the comics series, but damn, that was pretty dark, intense...and sad. Right up there with some of the most intensely hard-to-watch but gripping TV ever...just, damn. Wow.

The Woodbury storyline is killing me, though. I know it's important and all, but after an entire episode of it last week, I'm just not that interested in it.

I'm only sad about the loss of one character. Unfortunately, that character didn't have near enough screen time (IMHO). It looks like they're moving back into soap-opera-y territory again

I have to say I gave up on this show last season. Wasn't a big fan from the beginning, but there were way too many dumb character moves towards the end of the last season that had me throwing the remote at the TV.

The show traumatized me this week. If they have killed off Carol too I am going to have a damn monster fit.

So, now we have to wait until February.

I thought this last episode was excellent - the wall o' heads! - until the final scene (which felt like a bolted-on extra, somehow, with an in-between section missing).

I must admit I've quite enjoyed the last few episodes. Not much to gripe about at all. Plenty of action, and zombies.

This is my favorite show on TV. Season two was a bit slow but this season has more then made up for that.

Watched the firrst two seasons and 3 episodes into season 3 and REFUSE to watch any more....
POORLY written crap...............I HATE every character and wish them all to hell
And the writers treat the viewers like morons.....

Things bothered me but still it was better then 99% of the tv on right now.

The roof bothered me.

I loved a bunch though.
Carol calling Daryl Pookie and telling him to remember she liked him first
The crazy zombie in the woods turning out to be a live woman
Beth's decent into full blow apathy. This does not bode well for the future.
Carl's want of a childhood crushed yet again by Carol teaching knife skills.
Plague!!!!

The good outweighs the bad. At least for me.
