Buying Crossroad Press ebooks from Amazon is so ridiculously easy, I can't help but order them that way. I've hardly finished clicking the purchase button and the thing is already on my Kindle!
I actually did go to the Crossroad Press site first, and wondered why I couldn't find a lot of the books I was wanting to get. But I see in a different thread why that is - glad it wasn't simply me not being smart enough to navigate the site!
Anyway, while I know the percentages aren't quite as good, I'll probably be following in Tony's footsteps buying Crossroad Press titles from Amazon. I have a for getting some great Crossroad books recently, and a if I've offended either of the Dave's.
Nope, I'm sure DNW wouldn't be offended. I agree it is easier to purchase directly from Amazon. The One-Click/automatically sent to your Kindle can't be beat. With the CP site, coupons can be offered (like the current 25% off coupon), but at Amazon and B&N, unfortunately that can't be done -- the price has to be adjusted. If the price falls below $2.99, the percentage drops from 70% to 35% on the sale.
Yes, the CP site is being rebuilt and will hopefully be complete by the end of the year. While the appearance looks the same to the user, the changes "under the hood" will make it easier to link to the site, do blog posts, newsletters, etc.

I've made a promise to myself to go to the Crossroad's site now when I want to order some C.P. books. I have to admit, I don't always follow this, as when I am ordering books from Amazon and I come across a C.P. title I wind up just adding it to my order. But if I am going to specifically order a C.P. title, I go to the site. I believe this is what I did the last time and wound up ordering 3 or 4 books. (P.S., I still have not read a certain title as I am awaiting the upgrade )
